About the Exhibition
An invitational exhibition of Sohyun Guk's artwork, which produces clear visual results expressed through a sense of rhythm, refined colors, and concise images, will be held at Art in dogsan, Seoul!
Emotional Geometry
Experience remains color, memory remains pattern.
Based on this, the colors and patterns hanging on me are captured on the screen.
It is reduced to emotion on the screen and engraved in a pattern.
In the accumulation of various experiences and absolute time, I fill the screen with the value of shining repetition and regular circulation.
In a series of choices, rules and order are created unconsciously,
I carefully gather my broken heart in pieces in the process.
Unknowingly, pieces of figures are gathered and completed.
It's like a puzzle.

감성기하(感性幾何)
경험은 색으로, 기억은 무늬로 남는다.
이를 바탕으로 나에게 드리워진 색과 무늬를 화면에 담아낸다.
화면에서 다시 감정으로 환원되어 무늬로 새겨진다.
다양한 경험과 절대적인 시간의 축적 속에서 나는 빛나는 반복과 규칙적인 순환의 가치를 화면에 채워나간다.
순간순간 선택의 연속 속에서 규칙과 질서는 무의식적으로 창조되고 있으며,
그 과정들 속에서 조각조각 부서진 마음을 조심조심 모아본다.
나도 모르게 도형의 조각들이 모여 완성된다.
마치 퍼즐처럼.
